PC104 choices

PC104 vs EBX: EBX is basically a laptop without the case. There is a cutout model in of each in the lab. The PC104 is much smaller and needs adapters to connected the interfaces. The EBX does not need adapters.

Parvus
- PC104 400 MHz celeron can be easily switched to a faster Pentium (UPDATE: No processor is soldered on).
- Development kit comes with DOS only (But a Slackerware Linux is coming soon)
- Development kit hardware can be used with other PC104 hardware

ADLogic:
- not sure about smartcore
- checking prices on pentiums

Arcom
- Nice development kits (Linux pre-installed)
- Limited availability of higher speed systems PC104 could force us to an EXB

My favorite is the Parvus, the only fear is getting our Linux to run in it. Any comments from anyone else?
