Okay, I figured out that I'm probably going to have to cross compile it whatever i try to develope for the iPAQ. They have these things called toolchains which allows me to compile on a "computer" and then moving the software to an iPAQ. Next time i come to the lab I will (if no one has gotten there before me) connect the computer to the iPAQ. Okay, I'm getting tired for the day.
